Break In 2/27/10 D & F

Today At D street and F street. Downstairs studio. Forced
locked window open. Computer, games and electronics taken. Sometime
between 8:00 am and 2:30.
Police called. Report made. They said their were several break-
ins. The neighbors said they heard about some looters in H.P.P.
getting caught today. We saw a black beat up small truck w/a camper
heading down beach road at 10:00. At least 4 or 5 young looking guys
in it. I mentioned it to the Police on the way out. Did anyone see
anything? We really are sick of this. We need to catch theses
people. Shame !Shame on them!

Dear PAKA friends,This is both"interesting" and disconcerting = disappointing. As you may be aware the roadblocks at Kaloli and Paradise were set up before 7AM to prevent people from coming in to the point- I'm wondering how this happens..I had thoughts about this "opportunity" with everyone evacuated, but felt the police control point was secure

I was surprised when we returned home after the tsunami (before the official CD all clear. We passed a Police patrol car on PAK and they did not stop us. I would have hoped otherwise.
